Understanding How Your Order Will Be Shipped
At Med Mart, we partner with trusted carriers to make sure your medical equipment arrives safely and on time.
The type of carrier we use depends on the size, weight, and type of the product you ordered.
Here’s how we ship:
Large Items (Freight/LTL Shipments)
For larger items—such as hospital beds, lift chairs, scooters, patient lifts, and other heavy or oversized equipment—your order will ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight.
Our most commonly used freight carriers are:
-
FedEx Freight
-
R+L Carriers
We also work with several other reputable national and regional freight companies depending on your delivery location and the fastest available route.
Important:
-
Freight deliveries are typically curbside delivery unless you upgrade to Premier In-Home Delivery (White Glove Service).
-
The freight carrier will often contact you to schedule a delivery window.
Smaller Items (Small Parcel Shipments)
For smaller, lighter items—such as accessories, parts, or smaller medical products—your order will typically ship via a small parcel carrier.
Our small parcel carriers include:
-
FedEx
-
UPS
Small parcel shipments are usually delivered directly to your door without the need for an appointment.
How You’ll Know Which Carrier Is Being Used
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes:
-
The carrier name
-
A tracking number
-
Instructions for how to track your shipment online
If your order ships in multiple packages, you may receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment.
